Hello! My name is Rachel Herring, and I'm the creator of Herring Design Co. I've been designing and creating as long as I can remember. After graduating from college, I grew my art business slowly while I worked full time in Birmingham, AL. Being born and raised in Alabama, most of my earlier work centered on the shape of my home state. As my business grew, so did the number of states (and countries!) I've created. I was able to go full time with my dream in 2012, and I truly enjoy every minute of it. I really love working with my hands and sharing the pieces I've made.  

When I'm not sawing or hammering, you can find me loving on my two lab mix pups, drinking good brews, and obsessively following SEC football.
