I deviated from the constraints of the ruler \u0026amp;  the t-square years ago, and have been painting \u0026amp; drawing ever since!  Cartography is the study and practice of making maps, and I found that it can be quite a personal journey to attempt to document all of the places that hold a special place in my heart. I stumbled across drawing typography map ink illustrations as a result of a friend asking me to incorporate my india-ink drawing style to a map of New Orleans.
